The top surface of the Clareirinha coffee tables are carved with an engraving reminiscent of a path, giving way to their name, which in Portuguese means an open space. Claudia Moreira Salles was given the idea for this design when flying over the Amazon; the relief captures a clearing in the forest. The two tables can be purchased individually, but are suggested as a pair to highlight the contrasting positive and negative engravings: one with a recessed carving, and the other with a mirror image in relief.

In designing the Cobogó Copacabana coffee table, Lia Siqueira imagined it to occupy the interior of an Oscar Niemeyer building; Cobogó, an architectural element signature of the modernist movement that allows the entrance of sunlight and natural ventilation, is implemented in Siqueira's table top, realized in the pattern of the Copacabana sidewalk.

Part of Jorge Zalszupin's Componível line of furniture, originally designed during the 1960s, the guiding principle is modularity. The idea to make furniture that could be composed in numerous arrangements was new to Brazil at this time. Zalszupin often brought inspiration from his European heritage into his work. He combined his research in tropical materials such as hardwoods and caning, with refined methods of production from his European counterparts.
The beauty of the Componível Vanity is how many ways it can be reconfigured. In place of knobs and handles, Zalszupin follows a simplistic aesthetic carving niches out of the frame to remain functional and clean. As with any self-respecting vanity, a large circular mirror is poised atop the spacious base to maximize visibility and functionality.
The Conduru coffee table is unique in its rough, raw qualities, evoked by the choice and treatment of the pieces's angular, imperfect design.
