Pali & Jejo Cornelsen are a Brazilian-American father-and-son creative duo whose work bridges generations, disciplines, and material languages. Pali Xisto Cornelsen, an interior and furniture designer, develops objects and environments that balance architectural rigor with tactile immediacy. His father, Jejo Cornelsen, is a Brazilian artist and polymath originally trained in architecture in London, with a wide-ranging practice spanning illustration, fine art, animation, sculpture, and graphic work.
Their collaboration is rooted in an intimate creative dialogue: Pali’s contemporary design practice extends and reinterprets Jejo’s intuitive, experimental approach to form, material, and gesture. Working with salvaged wood, natural pigments, and direct interventions into organic materials, their pieces occupy a space between furniture and sculpture, function and memory. Together, they create works that honor Brazil’s rich modernist legacy while asserting a deeply personal, intergenerational language of craft, improvisation, and artistic continuity.
