Paraty Lounge Armchair

Originally designed in the mid-1960's for the lobby of Brasilia's Itamaraty Palace, which houses the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil, Sergio Rodrigues' armchair was an instant hit due to its modern, streamlined design and comfort. Named after the city of Paraty, a preserved Portuguese colonial getaway where the gold rush of the 1700's led to the construction of its historical Gold Trail, Rodrigues reissued the armchair and ottoman after a 40-year hiatus.

Paulistana Lounge Armchair

After travelling to Germany and Denmark in the early sixties, Jorge Zalszupin started to develop and apply new techniques such as wood curving, which resulted in this armchair. The Paulistana, meaning someone from the city of Sao Paulo, is reminiscent of the iconic 670 chair by Charles and Ray Eames yet strongly Brazilian modernist in design. Futuristic yet functional, the chair invites both conversation and relaxation.

Petalas Coffee Table

PL 115 Armchair
