In 1960 Sergio Rodrigues designed a set of pieces for the Brazilian Embassy in Italy, when the government had just acquired the building, known as the Pamphilj Palace.

The Secreta coffee table is a modular system, composed of 2 or 3 stone boxes. One side of each stone box is a wood panel, which is also the front of hidden drawers opened with a “secret” magnetic feature. The drawers open when a wood pebble housing a hidden magnet touches the wood panel, at its very center. The composition can be made with an additional plain wood box, to introduce rhythm and playfulness to the piece.

Sergio Rodrigues named the Sergio Augusto after a friend of his, a journalist. The lamp stands on a unique, chrome steel tripod with wooden balls at each foot, that reappear as details throughout other portions of the lamp.

Distinguished by its rotating metal structure, and by being completely handmade, the Sergio lounge armchair is deemed a tribute to Carlos Motta's good friend, Sergio Reodrigues, a Brazilian architect and designer. While Motta developed this armchair, he received news that Rodrigues had passed away.
