Brasiliana Lounge Armchair

by Jorge Zalszupin

Reference: #00001744

Jorge Zalszupin designed the "Brasiliana" armchair in 1965 as an homage to Brasilia • as an homage to Brasilia • the recently founded Brazilian capital designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Sinuous forms shape its wooden frame, reminiscent of Niemeyer’s signature curves, as do its impeccable craft details: wooden carved upholstery buttons, voluminous cushions, a bolster pillow and brass hardware; it is a mid•century classic
