"Carlos Motta: Life As I See It" presents Motta's work as a designer and architect through vivid photographs and candid interviews. Fellow Brazilians such as the furniture designer Sergio Rodrigues, Pritzker•prize winning architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, filmmaker Walter Moreira Salles, and artist Gregório Gruber describe Motta?s style, accomplishments and personality. The book also offers insight into Motta?s personal life through conversations with close friends and family as well as images of the designer surfing, his favorite hobby. "Carlos Motta: Life As I See It" was conceived by Paulo Lima (the founder of the Brazilian magazine Trip), designed by graphic artist Rafic Farah and published by Bei Editora.
A DVD with footage of the live interviews excerpted in the book accompanies each copy.
