Jorge Zalszupin designed the Brasiliana sofa in the late 1950's as an homage to Brasilia • the recently founded Brazilian capital designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Sinuous forms shape its wooden frame, reminiscent of Niemeyer’s signature curves, and impeccably crafted details • wooden carved upholstery buttons, voluminous cushions, bolster pillow and brass hardware • complete the Brasiliana, a mid•century classic in production for the first time since its original launch.
