Wallpaper* BRAZIL Special

The November issue of Wallpaper* features the Brazil Special insert, highlighting Brazil’s “architectural’s innovators, design dynamos and the country’s hottest trends.” The feature showcases the design work of Bruno Jahara, which transforms traditional terra cotta pottery and delicate opal glass into savvy home accessories, as well as the new home accessory line designed by Zanini de Zanine for Riva, which includes a pitcher, pizza slicer and salt and pepper shaker made from stainless steel in his signature angles and lines. The feature also tours a couple of Brazilian residencies, that reconfigure the conventional house layout, designed by architecture firms MK27 and Galeria Arquitetos and Bernardes Arquitetura. The special feature also includes a tribute stamp paying homage to Sergio Rodrigues (1927-2014) as it also spotlights his colorful Tajá line, in the article about Butzke, the eco-friendly manufacturer that re-edits the Tajá pieces as well as other outdoor lines by Carlos Motta.
