Opening today, September 19th, at the International Center of Photography, New York, is the exhibition Genesis, the third long-term series of photographs by internationally renowned Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado. Genesis is the result of an eight-year worldwide survey, bringing together more than 200 spectacular black-and-white photographs of wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, and indigenous peoples—raising public awareness about the pressing issues of environment and climate change. Curated by Lélia Wanick Salgado, the exhibition will be on view through January 11th, 2015. Check out more on the exhibition here.
