Isay Weinfeld’s First New York Project
Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld is working on his first New York City project: a residential condominium commission in the heart of West Chelsea, NY, overlooking the High Line. Surrounding a lush garden, the condominium takes the name of Jardim, the portuguese word for garden, and will include 36 new luxury condos, with private gardens, along amenities such as parking, indoor pool, gym, massage room, children’s playroom, private storage, and bike storage. Centaur Properties and Greyscale Development Group bought the through-block site, between 27th and 28th streets and Tenth and Eleventh avenues, last year for $45 million, amid several other rising projects, including a Zaha Hadid structure located right next door.
