GQ Brasil: Five Projects That Will Change São Paulo
The latest edition of GQ Brasil highlighted 5 projects in São Paulo that are helping re-define the capital’s residential architecture. GQ’s selections range from intimate and reclusive projects to flashy skyscrapers: while Isay Weinfeld‘s elegant Oito re-imagines the traditions of São Paulo luxury-apartment living in the eight large units hidden behind its minimal metal and austere façade, Spanish architect Fermín Vázquez’ Forma Itaim building houses a much larger number of apartments in a setting resemblant of a luxury hotel, with a colorful façade bound to animate the neighborhood’s somber skyline.
