Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Design Miami has established itself as one of the main design events in the world, growing each year as a center for the best from the world’s design galleries and designers and also attracting a plethora of brands, installations and collateral fairs. Wallpaper* magazine has rounded up this year’s must see events, including the presentation Em Trânsito organized by ESPASSO, which will open on December 3rd at The Shore Club. Em Trânsito will exhibit, for the first time outside of Brazil, new mid-century reissues, special limited editions and one-of-a-kind pieces by some of the most important contemporary and modern architects and designers from Brazil. Em Trânsito also pays homage to design master Sergio Rodrigues, who passed away last October at the age of 86, by launching a special 60-year anniversary edition of his Mocho stool (the first piece Rodrigues designed in 1954) along another special edition of the last piece he designed, the Benjamin armchair.
